3 Clinical Case Reports of Traumatic Brain Injured Patients with Language Disturbance

Abstract
Objectives: This study was designed to observe particular clinical aspect including the Language Disturbance of Traumatic Brain Injured Patients, and to advance treatment.

Methods: We evaluated 3 cases of Traumatic Brain Injured Patients with K-WAB(Korean version - The Western Aphasia Battery).

Results: The result is as follows : As the result of the Case 1, Aphasia Quotient(AQ) was 64 point, relatively low. And Cortical Quotient(CQ) was 75.3 point, Language Quotient(LQ) was 73.3 point. As the result of the Case 2, AQ was 64 point, relatively high. And CQ was 75.3 point, LQ was 73.3 point. As the result of the Case 3, AQ was 64 point, CQ was 75.3 point, and LQ was 73.3 point. We could show relatively similar points.

Conclusions: We could evaluate objectively the degree of the Language Disturbance caused by Traumatic Brain Injury with K-WAB. And we convinced that this research is helpful for the treatment of Traumatic Brain Injured Patients with Language Disturbance.
